2 tbsp gluten free soy sauce

2 tbsp tomato puree

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder

500g pork steaks, visible fat trimmed

1 tsp sesame oil

Mixed salad leaves to serve


Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Mix together the gluten free soy, tomato puree, sesame oil and maple syrup with the five-spice.

Put the pork steaks on a baking tray and brush with just under half the sauce.

Roast in the oven for 10 mins, then brush with a little extra sauce and return to the oven for a further 15 mins.

Remove the pork, and serve with a green salad with the juices drizzled over.
